Scale
Liquid Ingredients
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 15 oz cream of coconut
- 13.5 oz coconut milk
- 0.5 to 1 cup white rum (optional)
Flavorings & Spices
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Ground nutmeg (optional, for garnish)
- Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend Base Ingredients: Add the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut, and coconut milk into a blender. Blend until the mixture is fully smooth and well combined.
- Add Flavorings and Rum: Add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and white rum (if using) to the blender. Blend again briefly to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- Chill the Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a pitcher or sealable bottles. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the drink to chill well.
- Serve and Garnish: Before serving, shake the bottle or stir the pitcher to remix any settled ingredients. Pour into small glasses and garnish each with a cinnamon stick and a light sprinkle of ground nutmeg or cinnamon.
Notes
- This drink is best served cold and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- The white rum is optional; omit for a non-alcoholic version appropriate for all ages.
- Shake well before each serving as ingredients may separate during refrigeration.
- Adjust the amount of rum to taste for a milder or stronger drink.
- For a smoother texture, blend longer until completely silky.
