Description

This Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Dijon Aioli recipe offers a deliciously crunchy and flavorful way to enjoy Brussels sprouts either baked or air fried to perfection. Paired with a creamy, tangy Dijon aioli, this dish makes a perfect appetizer or side that’s quick to prepare and bursting with vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts, halved or cut into wedges if large
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dijon Aioli

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp minced garlic or garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp fresh chopped or dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven or Air Fryer: For oven method, preheat to 400°F (205°C). For air fryer method, preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Cook Using Preferred Method: Oven: Spread sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 18-20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Air Fryer: Place sprouts in the air fryer basket, cook for 6 minutes, toss, then air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  4. Make the Dijon Aioli: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, olive oil, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Serve: Chill the aioli briefly if desired. Serve the crispy Brussels sprouts with a side of Dijon aioli and garnish with fresh or dried parsley.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, make sure Brussels sprouts are dry before tossing with oil.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter aioli version.
  • Adjust garlic quantity in aioli according to taste preference.
  • Leftover Brussels sprouts can be refrigerated up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer for best crispness.
