Scale
Yogurt Mixture
- 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
Layers
- 1 cup granola
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
Garnish
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Yogurt: In a medium bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup, if using, until well combined and smooth.
- Layer Granola: In four small glasses or jars, evenly distribute 2 tablespoons of granola at the bottom of each container to create the first crunchy layer.
- Add Yogurt: Spoon a few spoonfuls of the prepared yogurt over the granola layer, spreading it evenly.
- Add Fruit: Top the yogurt layer with a mix of sliced strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple chunks, distributing the fruit evenly among the glasses.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process by adding another layer of granola, yogurt, and fruit until the glasses are filled, finishing with a fruit layer on top.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish each parfait with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the best texture or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving to chill.
Notes
- Use your favorite fruit combinations based on what’s in season to keep the parfaits fresh and vibrant.
- To maintain granola crunchiness, add the granola layers just before serving rather than preparing the parfait completely in advance.
- For a dairy-free alternative, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond milk yogurt.
