Garnish (Optional)
- Fresh fruit or sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Dissolve Gelatin: In a mixing bowl, dissolve the gelatin completely in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring thoroughly to ensure no granules remain.
- Add Cold Ingredients: Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1 cup crushed ice. Continue stirring until the ice melts and the mixture begins to thicken slightly.
- Fold in Whipped Cream: Once the mixture starts to set, gently fold in 1 cup whipped cream until the mixture is fully combined and becomes light and fluffy.
- Chill: Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes or a medium-sized dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
- Serve: Before serving, top with additional whipped cream and garnish with fresh fruit or sprinkles if desired.
Notes
- Use different gelatin flavors for variety or create layered desserts by chilling each layer before adding the next.
