Scale
Brownie Batter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- â…“ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Mix-ins
- 1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 4 fun-size bars)
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini cupcake liners to prevent sticking.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring thoroughly to incorporate.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to ensure an even mixture without lumps.
- Mix Batter: Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Avoid overmixing to maintain a tender brownie texture.
- Add Snickers and Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chopped Snickers bars and semi-sweet chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the batter.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Spoon the batter into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full to allow space for rising.
- Bake: Place the tin in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool: Allow the brownie bites to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
Notes
- For extra gooey centers, slightly underbake the brownie bites and let them finish setting in the pan.
- Press an extra piece of Snickers bar into the top of each brownie bite before baking for a fun and decorative touch.
